I've been busy . . . painted my sewing room wall - which ended up in a HUGE clean up and out . . .

Finished a stitchery that I started about 5 years ago, and is now hanging on my wall.

Picked the last of the roses B4 pruning tomorrow

. . . and we have a new member of the family . . .

Nelly!
. . . we're all in love

Oooh - I'm very new to all this blogging business but like you I love my garden (precious little time to spend in it though) but I am thoroughly enjoying all this likeminded stuff with others. I am just about to publish a post regarding our new black lab puppy who has had a wonderful time digging out my alpine bed belfast sink!!!!! But my main comment was going to be on your sewing room - I am sew sorry so jealous - I have a bits and bobs shelf at the mo - will post pic and have just learned to turn on the sewing machine, thread it and attempt some bunting - you'd never believe I am a collector of anything lovely (jujji) including fabric and vintage quilts - so perhaps with a little inspiration like your blog I will get somewhere - thanks for being inspiring!!!!! X
