One thing I REALLY wanted to do in the holidays, was take the children to Melbourne on the train, and go to the Museum. Last Sunday, we did it. I just wanted them to get away from the "screen" and see other things in the world. Look at this fantastic tree we found. Unfortunately while we were busy taking photos of the tree, we missed the others when they turned off, and ended up doing a lap of the entire museum to finally find the front door.
. . . and all I need to do now is the binding on this quilt. Hoping to have it finished to take to school tomorrow.
The quilt is lovely Annie. The museum is a great place to visit. Good luck with going back to school!!!

ReplyDeleteThe quilt turned out beautiful! Oh, and the tree that your kids are standing next too is wonderful! What type of tree is it? Just wondering... I come from Washington, Oregon in the U.S. and love tree's. Or that is at least where I grew up. I live in Utah now, more mountains, and lots of desert too. Pretty, just different from what I grew up around.
ReplyDeleteYou have some beautiful pictures... your garden is very pretty. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful shots you take.
Stay cool... does your school have air conditioning? Hope so! Our schools around here have finally seen the light in that way... the kids get out early enough, but go back the end of August when we are in our hotest weather here.
Take care.
