That Echium is so beautiful .... one of those plants that you really have to study close up to see how wonderful all the colours are and how the flower heads are 'constructed'.
ReplyDeleteWe had them on the farm in Gippsland when I was a child, and I hated them then.....very overgrown and neglected and the hens used to make dust baths underneath. Since seeing them in recent years at Diggers, I've changed my mind completely.
