Scare the Crow

Agapanthus Buds
Buddlia
Pete and I have still been having lots of fun in the garden. Look what we made today . . .
Pete made a "little boy" one in his vegie patch

I'm loving my holidays in the garden.

  1. We are too Annie. Mine is now a rapidly exposing, sodden mess. Yours fills me with hope.

  2. Pete's scarecrow makes me think of Tom Hanks in Castaway, making friends with a volleyball, calling him "Wilson". Love your garden, as always. Are you keeping cool and able to water your dear plants?

  4. Love the Agapanthus buds. Ours aren't looking great at the moment, maybe as the ducks hide in the middle of them! Great scarecrows although think they are more cute and happy than scary!!

  10. Hi Annie: Love the scarecrows - and your little Pete is the greatest! You could hire him out around the neighbourhood for boy-type crafty projects.

  13. Wow, Agapanthus. I just pulled the old heads off mine today from summer 09. They're dormant and damp. I'm hoping they're still alive! It's great to see yours flowering! Roll on spring on this side of the planet!

  14. That was a lot of exclamations. I think I'm trying to be cheery in the dreary depths of winter. Truth is, it's dismal outside.
