As I have realised the deadline for this lovely long holiday - I have gone slightly into panic mode. I have enjoyed being out in my garden, but it was time to hit that new sewing machine and tick off a few jobs on the list.
. . . actually this first job wasn't actually on the list, but I decided to make a little quilt for my new sewing machine to sit on. I just need to bind it and it will be done. Very satisfying to do a tiny project like this that was finished almost in one day.
AROUND THE BLOCK was my next thing on the list. We had a month off for holidays and now it's back to it. I finished this one off for Sherridan and the next one arrived in the mail today.
back to the sewing room now - - -
Where DID those school hols go?? I had such plans in between days at the other job - things to make and bake, films to see - haven't done much at all except read heaps and do a little bit of stitching. The highlight has been meeting Ernst this afternoon - so exciting! Not looking forward to real life next week!
ReplyDeleteI'm envious of those who can sew, you included! Well done. My sewing machine sits there being pretty and that's about it. I'm too big a chicken to use it!
ReplyDeleteYou do such beautiful work. Enjoy your new sewing machine.

This green/grey colour combo is amazing - fresh and zingy and happy. Who makes these fabrics? I'd certainly want some for my stash.
