Some quilting done, and now for the binding.
BUT
Look what happened, when I checked it out the next day . . .
There must have been a scrap on the sewing table (what am I talking about must have been!!)
On advice from a sewing friend, I just cut it close and pulled the threads through, rather than unpicking and re-quilting.
Looking good Annie!
ReplyDeleteyeh, I must be normal
ReplyDeleteThat was such a clever suggestion - just hope I never have to use it!
ReplyDeleteLovely Quilt..lol.
ReplyDeletecheers
It is great Annie!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt Annie even with the added extra bit.
ReplyDeleteOh, Annie, it is a beautiful quilt! I'm so glad you could get the extra part out without major surgery. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's classic Annie, I thought I was the only one that did that, although it's difficult to cut it off close when you're hand quilting and it's attached to your PJ pants :o)

Wow Annie -- that's a cool quilt. Definitely the smart thing to do in cutting real close -- unpicking is a pain. Love that quilt!
ReplyDeleteoh no! I'm glad you managed to sort it!

It's nice to see things like this happen to others besides me. Love the quilt. Are you a hand quilter, too?
