My new Summer bag

Thanks to Nicole Mallalieu, I feel very clever each time I make my new seasons bag. I happened to miss Spring Time, and have been using my Winter Bag (another Nikki Pattern) which I loved, but the time was right to make a new one.
This pattern was a one star "easy peasy" one, and I am really happy with the professional look and finish of it.
Thanks Nikki for all the great tips and techniques that have helped improve my sewing skills.

I was late today to a "craftanoon" picnic, as I just HAD to put the handle on to take it for show and tell.

    Lovely job Annie. Most aptly the word ver. is schic.

    Perhaps I shall make 2011 The Year of Bag Making? Or as it could be alternatively known 'The Year of Getting Brave.'
