OOh Annie, that bag is looking good. Love the old pattern books - they bring back memories of stitching with my mum. Wasn't the rain good today - perfect timing for those new tomatoes!
I have a crochet doyley sitting in front of me that is exactly the same as the one on the pale green side of your doyley book. I think it is one Grandma made but I can't be certain. Those old books are wonderful. Love the bag too.
Am loving that bag, Annie!! Aren't old patterns fun to look through? It's always amazing at what ladies accomplished before all of the fancy tools were invented.
