    Amazing. Is that a poppy? Love the iris too, mine finished a couple of weeks ago. They were stunning this year too. Don't have one that colour.

    My mother used to have those amazing poppies, someone gave her the seeds in France. It is not a flower that we traditionally grow, while ireses are the symbol of Florence.
    But you have such a variety of lovely flowers in your garden!
