A long weekend, brought travel and family time.
I was excited when my sister (sister no. 2) invited me to her
Pottery Studio, currently in my mum's garage,
to make some "buttons"
These are my efforts
I loved this fork that Jayne used in a most professional manner, to make holes in things.

That must have been oh so much fun and look at the neat things you created.

Love your work. Quite a change of medium, but so creative. I can see why you would want to visit her more often! Will you paint them or leave them natural?
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much FUN, and you appear to be a natural button-maker.
ReplyDeleteMum sanded them back tonight, I sanded mine and we wondered if we should paint them with under glaze...and then we wondered what colour? They will be fiddly to put in the kiln but will be fun to sew on something.
ReplyDeleteHow neat! That does look like so much fun. How nice to have such a creative family.
ReplyDeleteClever you! It looks like fun!
