My mum is the official "Queen of Machine Knitting"
I am very new to this hobby, but already I have my second machine.
At Christmas time I had lots and lots of lessons on how to drive this fancy machine. It does all sorts of patterns and stitches, so I have lots of learning ahead.
a waistcoat it was to be. Lots of giggles, and late nights later, we came mighty close to finishing.

Oh my, such beauty...and "summer"! Gosh, we are in northern NY near Canada and it is about 8 degrees f right now, so I appreciate your beautiful items!
ReplyDeleteAnnie that is amazing for a first go!! You are inspiring me - I just need more hours in the day !
ReplyDeleteI think you are quite a natural with that machine knitting. I am impressed!
ReplyDeleteOh my LORDY, woman..... you're a champion! GO YOU! (And a big hug for your Mum from me. She's an amazing teacher and a wonderful woman).
ReplyDeleteHow mum convinced you to attempt machine knitting on a Mildura summers day is beyond me however I guess I treat a hot day like a rainy one and do inside things and she does have an airconditioner so perhaps it is not so incredible. Good work, I think you will be a natural. Help is only a skype call away. Mum will be so pleased you are having a go!1569
