I went to an "Amy Butler Trunk Show" the other night at Ballarat Patchwork.
Inspired as always by my friend Jodie, plus the added advantage of 20% off all Amy Butler stuff at Ballarat Patchwork this week, I bought the pattern for this skirt, that actually has 3 variations of skirt included.
Then a SALE hop to the 50% off all fabric at Lincraft, as Jodie insisted I must make a practise one first.
. . . and look what happened.
I still have to hem it, and shame about the legs, but I'm thrilled with my success.
love it love love love it love it love it love it !!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHAVE to see it tomorrow...
Did I say i love it ?
Annie, LOVE IT, can you wear it tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Annie, think I might have to get that pattern too, looks like a nice shape skirt
ReplyDeleteLooking gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSkirts are all the rage in Ballarat! Everyone's got their legs out. Looks like a nice pattern.
ReplyDeleteLove the legs. Oh and the skirt looks pretty cute too. What a bargain.
ReplyDeleteGreat skirt! Good plan having a practice...and looking pretty jolly skinny as well I might add!! Love the houses and swap quilts too, well done! Tracey
ReplyDeleteNice skirt, nice legs!
ReplyDeleteOh you very clever Missus Flowergarden. Your skirt is triffically gorgeous and love the styling of the photo so the cat's bum is included.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYay for you! That fabric is PRETTY, so bright and cheerful. And I love that your "practice" skirt looks better than most people's finished product. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, Annie .
ReplyDeleteBut oooh - watch out! Quick little a-line skirt making is a tad addictive. I have more skirts than I can wear since I decided to make ONE over the xmas hols.... and I didn't ever get those linen trousers I wanted made!
Stunning Fabric Annie - legs aren't bad too...vbg. The pattern looks like a real winner.
ReplyDeleteLove love love IT! I'm getting more into skirts these days too and this is such a great pattern and I LOVE the fabric. Good Girl xx
