After a day at home playing, I am feeling refreshed. Just thought I'd give you an update on our cheeky Chick Chick.
The other evening while we were having a little romp in the back yard, Chick Chick fluffed her little feathers and flew up onto Sarah's head. It gave Sarah quite a start, but she was still, and handled it well. Having Chick Chick in the family has been a good learning experience for our children....however....yesterday...
Chick Chick had a day in with the BIG GIRLS. I kept an eye on her throughout the day and she seems to know when to get out of the way. The other chooks are realising that she is little threat to them, and she is happy to take her place in the pecking order. This gives me more confidence that she IS a she and all will be well in our world.
We still brought the baby in at night, just to be safe!
