Autumn Annie Leaf Thief Extrordinaire

Now just look what my georgous friend Kate gave me. A mini quilt of me raking the Autumn leaves. Now I will be able to start my own quilt wall like Miss Lockett. It is just me all over and I was thrilled. Thank you so much Katie.
Here I have some yummy Pippijoe fabric to make a bag, a little blue bird from Mrs Big Head ( oh I mean Ric Rac of course!!!) and below, I have . . . wait for it . . . old curtains and new curtains. I have really outdone myself here, as I've never attempted curtains alone. I took a big breath and I am very pleased with the results.
This is what I found in my winter garden on a VERY cold day . . .
. . . and I've finally made a sock monkey. (yes I will take the pins out of his nose soon I promise)

Much industry for the last couple of days of the holidays

p.s .drop in and say hello to new Ballarat blogger Janette

I always like to see what is growing in your garden and HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR Monday-enjoy your day even though you are back at school. Happy Birthday for Monday! I suppose you wouldn't be quite as old as Ric Rac would you?

Love that quilt - it is so cute. I admire you for making the curtains too. I have tons of fabric in my sewing room just waiting for me to turn them into roman blinds. I have done one and that did my head in!

Have a great day tomorrow.

hia just catching up. Love your lavender stitchery. Well done for finishing it and getting it framed. Congratulations for getting the curtains done. Are they velvet?

I love the autumn leaves quilt- so original!

Well done for sorting out your sewing room. I'm in the midst of the spare room/dumping ground in preparation for a guest this month.
