Part One

Part One of my holidays is over. I have had my BIG trip home to the farm and it's not just me that loves to garden. I share the passion with both of my sisters and my mother.
This afternoon I head off for a "girls weekend" to a coastal shack.
In between times, I have prepared for planting a front fence (I ache all over) and am about to embark on the first coat of paint for a feature wall in my sewing room. I have told Mr Flowergarden that I only get a 2 week window of opportunity, so am going about 200 miles an hour on everything, much to his horror!! He is hiding out at his factory at every opportunity!
I love this grevillia from my sister's garden, and am going to plant one forthwith . . . if I can find a vacant spot somewhere.

Love your grevillia- 1st I've ever seen! That scarecrow is so sweet too.

I know what you mean about quick dash decorating: where we've got an American girl coming to stay with us on the 21st (our daughter returns with her on 1st August) so I had to get a move on with the living room so I'd have time to fumigate the rest of the house of rubbish, finish big messy projects and try to get the place fit to be seen.
Hubby says I have no idea of time management -I just get the job done then breathe. :-) Nice to know I'm not alone in doing that. Good luck and plenty of energy.

Sounds like your holiday is fun! I function at either 200mph or stationary! I've never managed to find the in-between switch!
