What lovely writing paper, and look at those cute cats!
A very excited me went to the Post Office this week to pick up a parcel. It was "international" so I was getting excited that it was going to be the Bag Swap . . . and it was. My lovely parner The TomBoy Princess had gone to a lot of effort and made these 2 beautiful buckets for me....but that was not all. She had also included a present to our darling Nellie the cat. She made this amazing bag with crinckly stuff inside the lining so it makes a sound when pussy climbs in it. In the bag were some amazing cat toys that Nellie instantly began playing with.
There were also some American chocs and Halloween treats and I felt very spoilt. Thanks so much Abby for being a wonderful swap partner.

Great stuff!!!! Lucky cat!
What great treats! Such a thoughtful swapper you had. I do think Nellie is enjoying being spoiled!
oh the pictures are great! - I love the ones of Nellie with her toys :) I see she likes to play with as many toys as possible at once - Zoe does the same!
So your cat was as happy as you were.

Awesome Annie, it was a great swap. Your swap partner was very generous - even including things for Miss Nellie !
You certainly had a very generous swap partner-lovely things for you and Nellie and now you're on holidays!!Yay! Enjoy!
Spoilt pussy cat getting the catnip through ...I think I
have managed one or two lots
over the years but I have to
tell my friends it is barely
worth it as the customs people
are so clever (as those of us who have gardens want them to be....really) but puss cats do
love the catnip which does come through. I am told that after
a while popping it in the microwave refreshes it.
Love your photos of your garden.
I am about 70 mins toward the city from you and my lawn is already
beginning to move into drought mode. Hoping for lots more spring rain.
