Couldn't stop at one . . .

Everyone was right, I just couldn't stop at one. These little angels are just too cute. After helping Ric Rac wtih her Granny's quilt, I was inspired to cut up some of my favourite reds and make a quilt of my own. Not sure about the sashing yet. Was initally going to do red, but it looked a bit much. This is navy it is sitting on. Any other ideas?

I was lucky to get a little Ric Rac girl with a favourite saying of mine . . . "No Way!" I love her. And Spring is coming to my garden. I just adore the blossoms.

Hi Annie! Love the babushkas - glad you didn't stop at one. I see that you've gone for a more polite version of Ric Rac's dollies! What do your blocks look like on white, perhaps even with little black or maybe even aqua corner squares? And please keep the flower photos coming. The blossoms are beautiful.

The dolls are cute!

I always like white sashings, they make the coloured fabric pop up. And I like Blooms’ suggestion for corner squares in aqua!

Love the blossoms.

Love the quilt...I'm thinking plain white or plain black to make the red pop even more.

Aqua or black would make the red pop, I'd have to agree.

And I have a serious jealous moment going on now I've seen you have one of Jodie's girls....

Loving those little babushkas-they look lovely altogether likr that. The quilt blocks are stunning and I like it on the navy but yes white would look nice too-you have been busy. Beautiful blossom photos.

Hi Annie, what beautiful dolls you've made. I love the Autumnal colours in your quilt. What about a creamy yellow colour? Just thinking on my feet about the colours around me at the moment.

I have a little something for you on my blog.
In Appreciation,
Melanie
