Oooh yeah, the white really works! I love it, especially the red & white Aunty Cookie fabric. You must have the best fabric shops nearby! When your email came through to 'have a look now', I confess I went into a panic, thinking "Shivers, she's done aqua corner squares, and I was really only thinking out loud"!!!
Ooooooh it's absolutely beautiful! I've wanted to make a red quilt for ages but I found it really difficult to find fabrics in a complementary shade of red, so I ended up buying oranges instead (and of course the fabric is just sitting in the stash). Is the geometric flower print from Pippijoe?
It's gorgeous! I definitely like it best on the white - so fresh and eyecatching! Is it a pattern or could you tell me how it is done? I bought some beautiful blue and white Timeless Treasures fabrics a while ago to make her a quilt - that design would be perfect (and probably do-able by me!!!) Lucy x
Ooooh, Annie, it is gorgeous! The white just makes it into a totally different quilt. I love it! I join Ms Locket in asking, Is there a pattern for this? ~Elaine~
