Just love it that my garden is blooming at the moment. There are lovely things everywhere I look - hoping for some rain though to keep it all going.
I have used a lot of my tank water already.
Miss Nelly was most interested in all the garden activity
Many of you may not know, but I have only been in my current garden for 2 and a half years. I started from scratch and it is the first garden I have completely planned and developed from a blank canvas. We bought a 3 year old home in suberbia, but the garden was filled with dieties and flax plants and they were much better suited to Mr Flowergarden's
factory garden, (of which I am chief gardener of course!) I plotted and schemed on paper since the day we signed the papers, and chose all my favourite trees and plants, and of course it has grown and changed even from that plan. I have my chooks in the back yard, my compost bays, my gorgeous TANK, and now . . . I have a fish pond.
Bob and Fred are yet to arrive. They are going to be my 13 year old's new pets...and yes, Mr Flowergarden is going to put some wire mesh over the top to keep Miss Nelly out, and also her friend Wilson from 2 doors up.

Annie, please tell me that is a sign above the pond. I thought with Miss Nellie's interest that perhaps Bob and Fred had already ceased.

Just so you know, Fred and Bob have yet to come and live in the pond. They are the last installment.
It is obvious that you get such pleasure and satisfaction from your garden and that it is a very special place-you have such a green thumb and have planned it beautifully. The new addition is wondeful and I am sure when you get Bob and Fred they will be very happy in their new home! When you go to the pet shop all the little fish will have their fins up and yelling..."pick me!!Pick me!!"
What an acheivement in such a short time! Have you been to the native flower show at the Botanitical gardens this weekend? A know a lovely man wth a stall :) Love your pond too

Ooo a proper fish pond! I have a koi in a tank (Rudolf because of his red nose) but one day in a few years I will have a pond again.
I love the plants you have been photographing. I recognised one this time- the French lavender!

The flowers you have in your garden are fantastic.
I remember buying our fish one year ago when we bought our new house. Our fish pond is nice, but needs a little work to make it look nice.
