Inspired by Lucy Locket, I have started a mini quilt wall of my own.
I've been busy this weekend making another couple of orders for aprons - all done!
Inspiration this time from Ric Rac. I had a go at a mini quilt with selvedges for my new mini quilt wall, with my special Annie Fabric that my friends gave me.
Inspiration this time from Chooky Blue - thanks Chook for inspiring me to get my stipple foot out again and have a go at machine quilting. It was quick on a mini quilt and a great result.
This is my felting project gone wrong, and now I use it for a special curtain to shield my african violets. I promised someone I would post these pics.

She was quiet in her room, beavering away for ages, and then showed me this. Wow, I just love the things she makes.

Now that is a thought...the curtain over the African Violets. I have always had them on the kitchen window sill...it is long and gets the afternoon sun. I used to have a half curtain, but I guess it is getting time to pull the awning blind down. They are doing so well...a few burnt leaves but I have even reverted to propegating them. Bought a lovely soft pink on the other day. Trouble with propogating is you have to have space to put them.
Strange how we change. I once had indoor plants everywhere. I must have sucumbed to them being out of fashion a while back, but am reviving enthusiasm to start re potting etc.
Keep up the good work at that quilting. Yummy.

beautiful quilting. I really ought to sit down and talk to my machine about quilting, that and read a manual. LOL
Do you have Ikea? If so they do a cheap rail which can have clips as well as rings, which is good for a mini quilt wall if something doesn't have a sleeve or tabs.
What a busy girl you have been....I to have had a felting disaster....... and a clever daughter like her mum.

Just browsing over tasty muffins and thought I'd drop by (via Trash). Lovely lovely miniquilt - those selvedges are beautiful - oh how I wish I had a sewing machine and knew how to use it. Your girl is very very clever - fab bracelet!
