Sewing . . . AND . . . Gardening

I have a new pattern - - I have some new fabric - -
I am making myself a new SPRING bag
Of course that was not on the list of unfinished projects!  In usual Sewing Mania style, I have started a NEW project.  The unfinished ones stress me out too much.  Much more fun to start a new one.  I'm hoping to finish it today.
This is the beautiful result of all those lovely bud shots I have been taking of the blue cornflower.

P.S. I finished the bag this afternoon and have already transferred all my sh_ _ and it has been out in the world.  Glad I've done some sewing and time to put my Winter bag away.  Week 5 of 11 here we come, and a little rain for my garden tonight.

It's just not fair that you are getting Spring and cornflowers and we are getting cold, dark Autumn/Winter and hail and frosts! Humph!

P.S. Dot is convinced that months like June, July and August "sound" summery, whereas ones like November, December and January sound cold and wintery - I've tried to explain that you wouldn't think so in Australia!

Annie that fabric looks gorgeous, what is it? I can so relate to the UFO's stressing you out as you know. That's my solution, start something new!!

Love the new fabric and, of course, I would have to agree with the new projects being so much more fun than UFO's!!! The colour of the cornflower is beautiful.

I was supposed to visit my cornflowers today. I have a bud shot that my husband took, but haven't seen the flower out. We have a holiday Tuesday, maybe I will see them then.

So pretty.
