Post Christmas Quilts Review

Now that all the festivities are almost over, I am able to post a picture of my sister's Christmas quilt that I made for her.
In the same pattern, I have been making this one for 2 years, for my Irish Cousin Sophie.  It is called . . . "Sophie's Quilt".  She is over for Christmas this year, so I am finishing it off for her before she returns.  I hope she has room to take it back!!!
Inspired by Kristen Doran, I printed this photo onto fabric, and framed it.  It is a picture of my little Peter up my sister's Mulberry tree last year, communicating with the birds.

More of the quilts.

Annie, the quilts are GORGEOUS! And they are each unique, which is what always makes them special.

I love that photo print of your son, too. (I've spent a lot of time in trees in my youth, too.)

Hugs, Elaine

I love the pink and blues in Sophie's Quilt I'm sure she'll have room to take it back to Ireland.

There is something so EH Shepherd's Christopher Robin about the picture of your son Peter in a tree. I think you get a whole new perspective on the world when up a tree. :-) beautiful photo. What will you do with the fabric version?
