Sewing days . . .

. . . some garden pics from Christmas in northern Victoria
This rose is in my mother's garden and is called "Annie's Song"

. . . and some sewing days.  I showed one of my friends how to make Tote Bags and we had a good day chatting and creating.

I wasn't happy with my handles, so stayed up until all hours changing them which was quite tricky, but it does look better.

Love the fabric!

I love the red bag. Beautiful flowers as usual. I had forgotten all about everlasting daisies. My Grandmother always grew them. I'll have to remember for next year.

It's lovely looking at those flowers in the middle of winter here. What's the last pink one called?

The bags are absolutely gorgeous. What do you interface them with to stiffen them? I've been wanting to make a couple but have been put off not knowing if they'd be firm enough.

What a beautiful straw flower. They do grow in the UK in the Summer but I haven't grown them. The red Russian doll bag is stunning a real eye catcher

Hi Annie! I'm still very jealous of your lovely swap bag but it's okay because I know I can come here and look at it any time I want, hehe..

It was lovely to meet you yesterday and I hope we can all catch up again soon!
