Enough Heat please . . .

I've been working on the "Wedding Dress Quilt.  Just a few more stitches and the quilt top will be finished, and ready for some custom quilting.

Some experimenting with white sheets and scaps . . .

. . . and some new fabrics to play with .
The heat over the last week has been horrible.  My garden is not happy at all, and things are just crisping up and some even dying.  My tank is almost empty.

My first finished quilt for 2009

many more on the go of course, but one finished before the end of January.

They look fantastic Annie. Our garden tank has almost run out too. Did you stipple your quilt yourself? Love it!

The wedding dress quilt is beautiful...is that just the title or did you actually use a wedding dress for fabrics? Love your birdie quilt and the more is see cute labels the more inspired I am to actually make and attach labels for my quilts. I'm very bad that way.

Well done on the first finish for 2009 it is lovely I like the stippling. What a lovely way for a wedding dress to end up being used not in a bag in the wardrobe. My garden is past the point of no return.
