layer upon layer upon layer . . .

I think it's about time I cleaned up a bit in my sewing room.  My table is covered with fabrics and magazines, and bags
there is no place to sit on my couch anymore -
I had a couple of bad days at school last week, so HAD to come home via the Patchwork Shop with a little material to stroke!  . . .  then my parcel from AMETIE arrived in the post . . .
and I keep inventing new projects to do, when I really should be finishing off the huge stack I have already half completed
. . . and then a bag order that I needed to complete, and my globe blew, so I was sewing in the dark and made too many mistakes.  I now have a new school bag . . . off to cut out another . . . happy it's Saturday

Yes, there's nothing like fabric to brighten a bad day. I had one of those this week too! And I employed the same solution!! I'm getting a bit embarrassed to post about it as my stash is getting WAY out of control! Hope this week is better for you.

Annie, such lovely new fabrics! I can understand if you feel the urge to make some new creations - I am not a fast finisher either *LOL*

When feeling funky or blue it's best to pet your fabric! :o) Your stacks are beautiful.

The only decent way to deal with a crubbish week is to go fabric shopping! If only more people realised this simple fact, the world would be a far happier place :-)

I hope next week is a better one.

In the meantime, enjoy stroking that yummy fabricky therapy!

Lots of lovely fabric to brighten your day. Hope your bad days at school are over and that you will have a lovely week this week. Your new school bag looks great. Unfortunately, all that is on my sewing table at the moment is dust!!!

I think I need to have a bit of a tidy too :) It starts to 'take over' sometimes :)
The new fabric is lovely. Fun to open little parcel packages - especially fabric! Always cheers me up too!

Lovely bag and beautiful fabric colours.

Thought it was just me who likes wandering about shops and touching fabrics. I'm quite good these days about not buying it!

I hope you are feeling more with it now after the weekend. Not nice when you have some days that hit you for 6.

I like your new bag. Yes fabric is a lovely cheer upper.

Once I was told that there are 4 types of people:
those who don't
those who start
those who continue
those who finish.

You need all 4 types of people in the world. Some people are good at just giving money to get a project started but don't want to be involved in it's running, others have the vision to start it, others are good at keeping it going, and others are good at tying up loose ends and seeing something finished well.

Good on you to have the vision for new things. I put mine in a book when I am snowed under with other things so I can just look through my ideas when I have more time.
