Some Garden Love

. . . a beautiful red salvia that my mum gave me a little seedling from her garden, growing strong and she says I'll have it forever now as it self seeds . . .
. . . clematis seed pods always catch my eye . . .
. . . just a spot of "sewing table" love thrown in for good measure . . .
. . . and the beautiful sedum Autumn Joy with a lovely clematis pushing in and showing off

Sedum's are fast becoming a favorite to me. Very low maintenance and easy to grow. Your flower photo's are beautiful.

Isn't it fun! You can almost always find something pretty if you just look. You sure did!

Who said red and green should ne'er be seen? Fiddlesticks! That salvia is stunning, and the clematis peeping through the sedum is an eye popper.

My sister's currently in Melbourne and it's ace to see your sedum at its peak - I have it in my garden in the UK - at the moment it's just stumpy little green shoots.

Lovely salvia-I have a few in my garden and seem to be on the lookout for more-I didn't know there were so many different types! Clematis bud is amazing-too hot to grow them here. Have a happy weekend:)

I keep my empty cotton reels too - just waiting to be inspired for the perfect project for them!

Lovely photos again, Annie. I am a fan of salvias, they are so easy to grow, and come in a huge range of pretty colours and different sizes.

Wouldn't it be nice if the empty thread spools were self seeding also!
Your pictures are so lovely.
They make the evening just right.

Ooo red sage is so pretty.

I've planted the straw flower seeds now the weather is warmer here. They are on the window sill at the mo. I'll let you know if there is any progress.
