After 3 years of living in our new house, I have finally met a kindred spirit who loves to garden. I have a gardening neighbour. This rose above is from her lovely garden.
Mr Flowergarden bought himself a new toy. I tried to photograph it including some flowers. Despite it's dusty decrepid exterior, it is something that will keep him busy and happy while I potter in the garden and create in my sewing room
I might just point out that he already has one in his garage that he tootles around town in on the weekends.
Back to school today and on the web of school life for the next 10 weeks. I'll try and keep it all in perspective.

Oooohhhh, I'm glad that he who works has no idea about looking at blogs, that's the cry of the moment..."if I had a vintage car......". It's a shame you're too far away to join our gardening group, we are always looking for new members, it's nice you've finally got a like minded neighbor though.
but does this neighbour make garden beds out of fabric ???
I hope the 1st day of your new term goes well. My children went back today so I am blitzing the house task by task and rewarding myself by hanging out in Blogland going through people on my blogroll.
Well on the positive side, you get a husband free house to craft in. :-) Lovely looking car. I'll have to share one I saw in the Lakes yesterday.
It's great when you have good neighbours... especially if they are generous with cuttings. LOL
what a beautiful rose (and photo of it!)
: )
What a fabulous car! And beautiful roses too of course!!!

Gorgeous Rose...amazing car...and yes I hope we can keep it all in perspective...I only have 6 weeks til Term ends so that sounds so much better than 10. Good Luck! Cathy
beautiful rose.......
Beautiful rose Annie. Has DH finsihed a car to show off yet?
Ok so now there are two reasons for me to visit you again....wicked grin. One - your garden - love the photo of the roses and two - the old car. Only I might just have to bring DH along. He can drool over the cars while your DH tells him what is going to do with them while I can drool over your garden and sewing room.
...and what a gorgeous rose it is. Happy 2nd Term Annie!
What a great car! It's good you both have plenty to keep you busy. :)
I am glad you have a lovely neighbour you can share gardening tidbits with-that certainly is a beautiful rose she has. Mr Flowergarden certainly has a fabulous new toy! Hope your week back at school has been good-my turn next week but I do so LOVE holidays and a chance to be almost human for awhile!
What a beautiful rose! Your neigbour loves beauty-the car too!
