Bliss

Re-arranging my sewing room
. . . a new project with scraps
. . . a table runner for my neighbour from curtain samples
and my wonky house block for the Around the Block swap (see my link on the side bar)
A boy home sick for a couple of days makes for some good sewing time.  All well again now, so it's back to the day job!

I love it all! And how elegant that table runner is. Don't you love it when you can use something that others would consider a throw-away!

You have been busy! Love your wonky house! I'm still thinking about how the hell I'm going to do a decent one. Yours is gorgeous. And your sewing room is delightful.

Cleaning up your sewing room is the best type of cleaning if you ask me! Wonky house looks great. Haven't even started mine!

Looks like you are having fun. To me September is more of a new year than January. I ought to get out the Autumn decorations but we're having a few days of lovely sunshine so I haven't yet.

Love the colours in the wonky house block.

Don't you just LOVE curtain samples? I have stashes and stashes of them. Make them into purses, bags, babyshoes, toddler toys - it is always very good quality and very sturdy stuff. My only problem is the little labels they put on the samples with the names of the fabric... Dang, are they stubborn.
Love your blog, very inspiring, and especially the photo's!
Thanks ever so mucht.
