Concert Week

It's been a busy week here with Concert.  I've been lucky enough to witness Ric Rac's BRILLIANCE with the amazing array of costumes!  It is all over now for another 2 years and we can pack up the costumes and get ready for 2 weeks school holidays.
I've been sneaking in a little bit of quilting, trying out 2 Little Banshee's pattern which I love.
. . . and a trip to the in-laws last weekend called for a portable craft, so it was back to my crotchet

I love those quilt blocks so simple yet so neat. I think I will do that. Hope it is ok to copy you? What size are the blocks and how many will it take.

Glad that concert was successful and I'm not surprised that the costumes were superb! I love your quilt blocks and that crochet is very scrummy. Beautiful colour combination! I have some car crochet time coming up next week, also involving in-laws, and now am thinking that some motifs may be a good option. Imitation being a sincere form of flattery!

Sounds like you've had a busy week. I love the quilt beginning, and your crochet is really coming along nicely. It's always so good to see progress, isn't it?

Have a wonderfully relaxing holiday, Annie, and come back with lots of creative ideas for the rest of the year.....although I'm sure you're never short of ideas anyway.

Lovely quilt! Your crochet circles are beautiful - you got a lot done. Is the attaching them together part at all fun? I've never learned to crochet, but I could be inspired to learn after seeing what you've done.
