Tip Toeing through the Tulip!

A beautiful day yesterday and I had no doubt about what I was going to do.  I headed out to my garden post haste and spent the day there.
One beautiful tulip was shining brightly and I couldn't help but reach for my camera.
I stripped all the beds and filled the line with washing which all dried . . .
. . . and by 6pm the clouds had come over and the rain had begun to fall.  It was a pick of the holiday garden days so far.  All my hard work got a lovely soaking, and today, overcast and drizzle, it will be off to the sewing room.  I feel very fortunate to have 2 such wonderful hobbies.

What perfect timing for your garden. So much rain would have been fabulous for it. A much cooler day today.
The tulip is so pretty and a gorgeous colour

The beauty of having 'inside' and 'outside' hobbies is that you can be happy whatever the whether.

I bet no-one ever hears you complaining about the weather. You just change activities and have a wonderful time.

What a lovely coloured tulip - it seems to be 'glowing' in the sunlight.

We're having a lovely rain here today. Sewing is definitely on the agenda. Tulips are one-season-only flowers here, it's too hot for them to come back. But each season has its delights, doesn't it. When you invest time in your garden, there's always something out there to give you joy!
