The rain stopped for one day!

It's a wet old Spring here in Ballarat
. . . but it did stop on Saturday for us to check out one of the young teacher's weddings. Good opportunity for some flower pics. Then a trip to a friend's place in Melbourne and helping her with her weeding - and I came home with these . . .
Looking forward to a new potting/shade house to raise them in.

We were in Ballarat last week, admiring the beautiful city buildings and those fabulous Sturt Street houses.

It's fun working in other gardens, isn't it? We visited Buda Garden in Castlemaine....how I would love to be able to work there - even weeding would be fun.

I hope your plants are thriving.

We have had a lot of rain here too but I'm not complaining-this time last year all the roses got burned because it was so hot-love your photos especially the one with the blue and bottle brushy bits

Your flower pictures are alway stunning! It is still funny to see everything blooming in Australia while we had the first frost this week and a lot of flowers are suddenly gone.
