I've been sewing some *Apron Orders.* Here's a "pretty pink" one.
I was doing a spot of gardening at the weekend, and came across some little vegi plants in my pots at the back door. I thought I'd transplant them into my vegi garden. I saw a nice "available" spot and thought to myself - hmm, I'll dig a hole there. As I dug, I became SO excited.
It was where my potatoes had been growing and I had forgotten all about them.
I kept digging, and singing, and digging . . .
and squealing with delight . . .
and I dug up 31 beautiful little potatoes (put 8 O's)
Little Pete and I collected them in a big bowl - we washed them . . .
we went and shared the exciting news with our neighbour . . .
and she cooked them up for our neighbourhood christmas dinner . . .
and they were delicious - yum yum!!

What did she make?
Potato cakes?
Potato salad?
Potato mash (my favourite)?
And a very pretty apron and gorgeous flower shots too.
Ohh aren't you clever. What a lovely surprise. I bet they were yummy - there's nothing nicer than home grown spuds. Love the aprons too - such pretty colours.
Wowee! A perfect surprise just waiting for you in the garden. A great contribution to the neighborhood christmas dinner.
Sometimes it pays to be forgetful!! Like hidden treasure those spuddies are. Love the little apron too. Hope you have a lovely Christmas! See you in the new year xo
What a nice surprise. We have just finished our spuds but I have another batch nearly ready to dig up. I had "surprise squash" in the garden....did you see them. Don't quite know how I missed them.
Do you usually dry your dishes outside on garden stakes???

Yippee! As wonderful as homegrown veggies are, how much more exciting to find some you'd forgotten.
Love the apron, too. So pretty!
Now that's an awesome find! They're beautiful. I love your pretty pink apron. And what is the gorgeous pink flower that goes with it -- is that some sort of hydrangea? The color is stunning!
