My one true love

We have a new pussy cat, and his name is Max.
He and Nelly (our first cat, my one true love) are busy getting used to one another.
In the mean time he has taken over the "kiddy wing" in our house and shares his love between the 3 children, taking turns sleeping on each of their beds. They think it is great!
I had a visit to my favourite Nursery this week - Lambley.
They have lots of lovely plants, and beautiful display gardens. I usually forget to take my camera, but this time I didn't.
This is Nelly, my one true love.
. . . just checking if Max is moving into her sewing room territory . . .
yes, Nelly is still my one true love, but welcome to the family MAX!
I love you Nelly, yes I do!

I think your cats are in pussy cat heaven, beds to sleep on and sewing room to play in, what more could they want for. I hope they become friends. Two cats we once had used to pretend they hated each other but would often be found sleeping next to each other in the sun and insisted they had the same cage at the cattery when we went away. We booked two cages but the lady said after their run they would always head back to the one cage together. Pretty funny.

Lambley has to be one of my favourites too although I do love the gardens at Misty Downs too, great photo's as usual Annie.

What gorgeous pussy cats, Annie. I love tabbies like Nelly and Max is certainly a handsome lad - Russian Blue? He looks like our old puss Sophie and Nelly is a bit like our first cat Daisy so I am destined to love them both!

I love how Nellie has closed her eyes ! I'm sure they will get along, as long as Max stays out of her position in the sewing room.

Max is indeed a very handsome addition to your family, but I know what you mean about loving the first one the most. Bruno makes sure that he's at the top of my list!

Awww.. Max looks like he's lapping up a lot of love.

Hey Annie - I had to have my cmputer wiped and lost your email address in the process. Would you please drop me a line so I can add it to the address book again?

Nelly cat is sooo cute but Max is also a stunner. Lucky kids to have him sleeping with them. I sooooo want to go nursery shopping with you. Lovely photos - I'm green with envy if you pardon the pun.

My Nan used to sing a song called Nellie Kelly, maybe you could sing it to your beloved? "The boys are all mad about Nelly, the daughter of Officer Kelly....Nelly Kelly I love you!" Oh..welcome Max, I don't know any Max songs...sorry xo

Max and Nelly are sooooo sweet! You have captured (or cat-pictured) them as eloquently as you do the lovely greenery!
Thanks for visiting my blog and viewing my snowy pictures.

Hi Annie: Happy new year, and thanks for your comment on the pressies post on my blog. New patchwork shop in town??? Where??? When??? And I think it's very funny that to comment on this post about your pussycats my word verification is "barkinto". Nelly and Max won't like that one, but my Cavalier King Charles' Gus and Katie will!

Hello Max nice to meet u, just dont try to take over the sewing room and you and Nellie will get along fine...glad to hear you are sleeping with the children...might have been a bad influence from Miss Peppy when they slept at my house.

I know there is nothing quite like your one true love but your family hass oodles of love for both. Max is gorgeous. His fur looks so soft. We have had Kobi for 7 years now and Izzy has fit in so well and is such a cutie but Kobi is also my one true love! Nellie is beautiful:)

Max is indeed lovely. Is he a Russian Blue?

There's something very homely about a cat asleep on the bed.

I'm sure mine is in that very position at the moment.

I am sure Nelly feels the same.

Max is gorgeous, looks like a darker version of my lilac burmese Lucas, who is with us no more. Did you adopt him?
