Inch by inch

Miss Nelly was having a lovely snooze on my quilt. I couldn't resist taking her photo.
I've been working on my 9 patch this weekend, and inch by inch it is coming along.
I have put the extra white sashing around the edge now and the quilt top is complete. It is quite large, so my next challenge will be organising a back piece.
. . . and then some quilting.

It looks beautiful, this large quilt. I'm wondering how you are finally quilting it and I hope you'll show the finished quilt.

Oooh, your nine-patch is so pretty. And Miss Nelly has picked a nice spot for her nap. She looks quite content!

Yay! Your nine-patch top is together -- and it looks great! Some of those blocks look like they hopped off of my 9-patch and onto yours!

Lovely work Annie and I'm loving your kitty snap - my cat also manages to hone in on freshly completed sewing projects: oh look, something not covered in my fur, I must tend to that immediately! xo

I really love your 9-patch quilt - I really ought to put that on my 'I-wanna-do-that-too-list'!! Hmmm...
And I truely miss having a cat (or 3) in the house, but when the hubby is allergic to them, then all I can do is enjoying such photoes and cuddle all cats coming my way, hehee.
