2 little monkeys were lost under the "craft vomit" and I'm pleased to say they are rescued and enjoying a better viewing place in the sewing room.
My only regret is that I didn't take a B4 photo - but as it was likened to "craft vomit" I'm sort of glad I didn't.
I found all sorts of fabric, that I forgot I had - I sorted them into colours, categories, sizes . . .
I spent 2 rainy days tidying
. . . and then I rewarded myself beginning a new quilt for Master Flowergarden (14)
and he was pleased

Nothing like a good dose of Mylanta.
Sounds like you found the perfect cure for "craft vomit" (love that phrase...vbg). So now what's your secret in getting motivated to clean up?
I just knew what this was about when I saw the title !!! It looks amazing now !!!
Can you come and un-craft vomit my sewing room too PLEEEEEEASE Annie?
Not sure I like the phrase. It seems to suggest the friend doesn't understand the processes involved. A bit like some adults who expect kids to tidy between each play not realising that moving from one spot to the other is part of the imagination process. Your room certainly looks neat now. Well done. Cherrie
Damn. I lost my phone charger a week ago. Still enjoying living with my head in the sand and singing la la lalala la, but I know it's somewhere under the craft vomit. Somewhere. But two whole days you say? Bet you're picking every shred of scrappy fabric off the floor as you go now!
What a neatened up craft room you have. I know what you mean about 'craft vomit', I think most crafters have that some or most of the time. The numbers quilt is very nice.

Looks great Annie! Room for everyone
Teehee! Having already had a conversation with Jodie this week I too had an idea what was coming from the post title.
Loving your after picture and kind of wishing that when I cleared up my crafty area I found 'lost' fabric. All I ever seem to get are dust mountains and dog hair dinosaurs.
And what time can you be here.....that looks fabulous!
Annie, your sewing room looks a dream of organizational skills. :) And what joy there is to actually be able to see all those things you love so much! Young Mr. Flower Garden's quilt is shaping up to be quite attractive (in a manly way, of course!).
wow what an amazing room - so organised - i won't show you mine!
I've learnt a new expression "craft vomit" for something which is very familiar to me ;-) !! If you are not fed up with tidying, you're very welcome here :-) !! Your sewing room looks great as well as your new green quilt!
I love your cushion cover Annie, and if you would like to do some more tidying there is plenty here that needs doing!
: )
Mine isnt healthy at all. Maybe the craft fairies could come my way and clean. Looks great Annie. Good to have those rainy days
Hi there, I found your blog through "You Sew Girl." I just want to say I love your room! How amazing to have a place to work from. I'm waiting for one of my boys to leave home so I can have a place to work.( I do love them but one day....) At the moment everything is on the dining table and has to be packed up for meal times! Also - The monkeys just make me smile - good fun.
Love your work!!
Was that friend Jodie by any chance????
It looks fabulous now! In fact I don't believe it ever looked vomit-y in the first place! ;o)
Literally drooling here Annie!
OMG i have just realised I have not got the last maybe 15-20 post............somehow you have disappeared from my bloglines..........OMG.......I haven't been ignoring you............fixing it right now.......and I bet Ric Rac said that statement.......
oh and you have a flash new header............think I lost you about early Feb..........how bad is that..........you have been so busy since then..........
I'm seriously impressed. A little sad that we didn't get to see a before pic but I'm sure I can imagine if it's anything like mine gets.
Love the look of the new quilt!
