No Rain Today . . .

Unbelievably there was no rain today - perfect weather for the Bunninyong Makers Market - I was very excited to have my very own stall, and couldn't believe how many people came through.
When I got home, it was still NOT raining, so I was able to spend at least an hour out in my garden doing some weeding and maintenace from the soggy rain. Some of my plants needed staking and one special plant looks in quite a lot of pain, maybe drowning from all the water.
Hopefully some more rain free days to come to give the poor garden some respite.
Oh what a lovely Spring we are going to have.

The market sounds fun.....could you give some advance notice of when it is on next time?
I keep meaning to ring friends who overlook Lake Learmonth to see if it has water in it again...one of the small things in life....along with Lake Ballarat and Eildon Weir that I have been longing and praying to see filled. So great to see the Murray flow again.

We gardeners are never satisfied, are we....lol? We want it to rain and then when it does, we're anxious to get out into the garden ..... if only it would stop raining !!!

Actually, I'm sure it will be many a long day before we do begrudge the rain ..... unless one is currently flooded. It's going to be a fantastic Spring; all the signs are there and even the weeds have dug deep, although still pretty easy to remove.

Glad you enjoyed the markets, Annie.

PS: The Word Verification is 'treatem' - could it be referring to the weeds, I wonder???

Hope you had a great day Annie, I'm sorry I missed it. Know what you mean about giving the garden a rest, planted some stuff into soggy ground on Friday. We need a couple of days of wind (I can't believe I actually said that..!!) to dry things off now..

The market was impressive - so good to see so many great stallholders and so many people wanting to buy wonderful handmade goods. Your stall looked terrific and I'm so pleased with my purchases. As for my garden, that's for another day.
