My new Summer bag

Posted by Picasa
Thanks to Nicole Mallalieu, I feel very clever each time I make my new seasons bag. I happened to miss Spring Time, and have been using my Winter Bag (another Nikki Pattern) which I loved, but the time was right to make a new one.
This pattern was a one star "easy peasy" one, and I am really happy with the professional look and finish of it.
Thanks Nikki for all the great tips and techniques that have helped improve my sewing skills.

I was late today to a "craftanoon" picnic, as I just HAD to put the handle on to take it for show and tell.

Lovely job Annie. Most aptly the word ver. is schic.

Perhaps I shall make 2011 The Year of Bag Making? Or as it could be alternatively known 'The Year of Getting Brave.'

Finishing the bag was the perfect excuse to be late to the picnic. It is even more gorgeous in real life as in your pics.

Goegoeus bag, looked fancy, not a Tote pattern! And gorgoeus fabric as well. Nice idea making one a season, never get tired of them then!
