I went out on Thursday morning, to feed the chooks, and my eyes strayed as they do, upon my beloved plants. I saw these little mushrooms coming up in the compost and was compelled to return inside to get my camera, to catch what my eyes were seeing, and share it with you all.
. . . of course this led onto other things, and I was almost late for work.

I love mushrooms there is something magical about them.
You sound very much like a teacher I used to be......and now I have all day, I do not bounce out in the mornings and try and cram in 30 mins activity into 5 and not be late for school.

Mushrooms are such interesting looking plants. Love the poppies, the images are very painterly, especially like the 3rd one.
Those little mushrooms look like they are made from folded newspaper.
