Roses for Happiness

Pierre

Julia's Rose
Mystery Fushia
Gallipoli Heath

My goal for the day was to have a trip to the Nursery and buy myself 2 roses.
I felt I needed some Rose Love.
I got a Pierre de Ronsard and a Red Pierre, and then spent the rest of the day moving things and pottering around making room for my new friends.
. . . a nice quiet day off,
back to the Rat Race tomorrow!

The roses are just amazing this year, I think they're loving all this extra rain. Your Julia's is lovely, one of my favourites...

Oh my gosh I love them both, but Julia made me gasp in delight.

Enjoy them and your other lovely bloomers as well.

Your roses are gorgeous! I can hardly wait to see the new ones. It is still gray and chilly here in the southern USA. So looking at your blogs brightens my day.

Annie, those roses are just gorgeous! And I used to have a white flower like your purple one at the bottom of the post. It was called an obedient plant because you could move the little flowers around on the stem and they would stay. ;)

Your flower shots are always so beautiful, I can just imagine the sweet perfume of those roses. It's nice having the time to potter around the garden :)

All of them are gorgeous flowers. Great photos. Love the soft mauve colour of the heath.
