Straw Blowing Winter Trees

At school the other week, we had a great time with ink and straws.
I showed them my photographs of the bare Winter Trees and using 6B pencils, the children drew the trunks.
They looked superb! I was thrilled with all of them.
Just to show you that my sewing room still exists, although I haven't been doing much sewing lately. Some crocheting, some TV, some school concert costumes and a spot of gardening.
Perhaps I'll whip up some new PJ pants this weekend . . .

When I saw the pictures of the trees my first thought was great idea for a quilt.

But I have not been sewing much at all this year.

thanks for sharing

The children would have had loads of fun - their paintings are beautiful.
