Blossoms and Blooms

Very excited to find this Split Corona open when I came home from school today
Buds of my Yellow Daisy always fascinate me
This is my daughter, our Max pussy cat and her wonderful "Birthday Blossom" tree.
It flowers each year without fail, exactly on her birthday.
Prunus Elvins - a wonderful ornamental blossom tree
Red Tulips at the front door, and Freesias on the other side
Love in the mist is beginning to bust into flower
Beautiful frilly Lavendar
My daffodils again
A lovely start to the weekend. I hope the weather will be good and I can be out there with my wonderful flowers tomorrow.
Happy Springtime to all

Lovely. Mum & I have always had a prunus elvins in our gardens and the one here had to go when I extended for what was to be her room...but planted one last year outside my bedroom window in the front. It always blooms close to Sept 9th the date of my Dad's homecall.
I tried hard to get the bees on it this year but they were pretty busy.
How come your daffodils stand straight?? I seem to have to bend to get to mine and I also found the doubles got well eaten or nibbled at by snails. More vigilance next year.

Great photos. It's lovely to see your Spring flowers as it's Autumn here. Did buy some tulips today to plant in anticipation of Spring.

Yes, your flowers truly are wonderful! I love seeing them. Keep it up. And what a fortunate daughter - not only is she beautiful, but to have her very own birthday flowers bloom on time every year! Wow!

We planted a prunis elvins around October last year. The leaves are looking dry and the edges damaged. It's getting watered 3 times a week but doesn't have directed water - it's watered from the bore water that waters the lawn. Do I need to water it more often and at the roots?
