Hats Hats Hats

That's right, HATS! I have 34 school hats on my line - all LOST PROPERTY. I think my washing machine got a bit of a fright. Next term is the NO HAT NO PLAY rule, so I'm sure they'll be in hot demand when school goes back in.
PS. I AM the "Lost Property Queen" at school
Ta Da - my lovely new scarf - I'm thrilled with it
. . . and the quilting has begun on my box quilt
I just love hand quilting - just so relaxing and satisfying
and what a great result you get in the end.

Lovely work as always, Annie. The scarf turned out so nicely and the quilt is beautiful. Are you up for a coffee next week?

No Hat No Play ... works ... was implemented at my son's 1 teacher school, many years ago and is still one of the main school rules. LSS goes one step further and says ... no borrowed hats... the children will learn not to forget their hats :-)
Lovely scarf :-)
Happy stitching, P

I love the picture of the hats and the rule made me smile.
Yor scarf is very pretty, it looks versatile and I think that you will wear it a lot. The colour is terrific!

The scarf has turned out well. It looks very smart. It is cold enough to wear it up here today. Love the quilting.

I was channelling your intuitive quilty genius today, Annie. The wee girl and I made a (cat themed) quilt top, completely without a plan (or a clue).

Loving your yarny and fabric work!

And do the kids come to you to find their hats? LOL. Great collection. The hand-made quilts are just the best!

Cheers, Diane

Love the scarf and the quilt. Very, very nice. Thanks for the hat reminder - I must search James's bag for his and give it a wash. We have the same rule at our school too.

Those clean hats will be in hot demand when school returns. I am having trouble with my comments page and thought I would check yours out to try and work out what and why there is an issue. Mum frustrated that her comments are not being published.
