I bought myself a new gas lift chair for my sewing - and it came . . .
in a BOX
The 3 children got busy and began planning
They worked together, co-operated and had a wonderful afternoon
As I was busy gardening, I was quietly watching on, and feeling a warm sense of pride and happiness at how they were playing so nicely together.
They might be "big" kids now, but hey . . .
everybody loves a new BOX!
. . . and there wasn't even any tears before bedtime!
Today they are out again, taking videos with ipods - great value, that chair!

Hilarious! Just goes to show that you're never too old to have some fun.
Brilliant! I remember when mine were small and they used to have more fun with the box than the present! Xx
Bet the two pussycats were a bit put out not being allowed to play with the box themselves :)
Looks like they had themselves a marvellous day, what fun!
I don't know what that first photo has to do with any of it ... but I love where that patchwork is going!!
What a fab way to use an old box! Lucy xx
Don't all the junior Flower Gardens (esp. the youngest) look happy ...
Fantastic fun!!!
Boxes were always fun, the bigger the better.

Cute photos. Isn't it amazing what they can still do to have a nice time.

Isn't it funny that the box is so often the best part of the gift for kids of all ages! They look like they're having a wonderful time!
Often the simplest things bring the most pleasure-you must be a proud mum and my how that big boy of yours has grown!
