A Blank Day

In the midst of Report Writing for School . . .

I needed some time for ME - some time to create and make

I was going a little crazy

I just played in my sewing room today,

Found projects and possibilities . . .

Made a new skirt . . .

Finished some unfinished business . . .

. . . and tomorrow it's back to Report Writing.
Just a little escapism, and time to catch my breath and remember
that life is good.

Wow Annie, what a productive day. Good luck with those reports.

wow some fabulous color in that lot. You put me to shame.
Have fun with reports.....I am not sorry to be rid of going through 300 or 200 each year. Being head of Department in a large school had its moments.
Thank goodness for computers.

Any day in the sewing room is a good day. It looks like yours was productive too -- with a pretty new skirt!

I just finished my final school reports last week. Still tired!

Love your skirt. Very attractive, and I am sure you will get lots of use from it.

Yay for you, Annie! I'm loving that new quilt and super-impressed with the skirt! :)

I only had one period on yesterday, because my year 9s were doing exams. I knocked over a lot of reports, though I still have to do the comments. *sigh*
I haven't made a quilt for 18 months, though I have to admit that I'm starting to get the urge...

We all need that escape time! The Kaffe fabric quilt looks great!

Wow, you're an expert quilter! I'm just a dabbler, but I do like to dabble in the craft.

Your skirt turned out great, love the fabric, too. I love to wear skirts and make a few from time to time.
Your blog is fabulous. Have a wonderful day!
