Cup of Tea Anyone?

Look what my wonderful friend at school made me the other week. She was inspired by Ric Rac's Tea Pots and thought she'd try her hand at a delicate cup and saucer. And then to my delight, she gave her handiwork to me! I'm so lucky. It has pride of place in my sewing room and I love it!

I have been having a little stitch on some felting that I made a few weeks back. Actually, I'm doing EVERY thing possible to avoid starting my school reports. This time next week, I'm hoping it will all be over.

A little snail ...

A butterfly ...

...and some yummy fabric to play with ... let the reports begin , oh actually I'm off to the gym now, will be back to work later...

that is so cute - you are a lucky girl.

I can't wait to start felting - I have promised myself I can do it next year.

As for reports, don't worry about them, my philosophy is - if your child is happy and the teacher hasn't cornered you, there isn't much to worry about.

Have a great weekend.

Lovely stitching! That snail is fab! Good luck with the reports - why don't you set yourself small targets with half hour creative rewards in between? Lucy x

I haven't seen anything like that cup and saucer before-it is quite lovely. It sounds as though you have a lot of crafty people at your school. The stitching is great and I love the material. Good luck with your reports-I know the feeling too well!!!
