Over the last week, I have taken great pleasure and delight in wathching this magnificent sunflower open up to the world. They are truely amazing flowers and so so happy to have around the place. Just as an aside, I didn't actually plant it!!! It just popped up outside the chook fence.
I LOVE how you've taken step by step photos of your bright and sunny flower-what a stunning display sure to put a smile on anyones face. Your garden is so lovely that flowers are coming to you of their own accord!!
I just love Sunflowers!!! I grew a bunch years ago and they were so dang tall. We had to get on a ladder just to take a picture of them. Great photos you took.
Fabulous step by step pics of the sunflower - I didn't plant mine either - they grew from the sunflower seeds in the mixed seed I put on my bird table - isn't nature wonderful?

What a delight! Here in my part of Texas, it is cold and rainy and dreary. That sunflower was a welcome ray of sunshine. Thank you!
