Inspired by Crazy Mom Quilts to share our craft space . . . here goes
You are entering the craft space of Flowergarden
This is one of Nellie's favourite spots to sit while I am sewing.
This is my cutting table where the space gets smaller and smaller . . . like some other crafters I have read about, and my big long couch is filled on Craft Nights and sometimes in the holidays, I turn it into a bed and have holidays in my sewing room!
A wall of cupboards is VERY handy for all my STUFF, and above it is my mini quilt wall inspired by Lucy Locket.
This is the hot seat where I spend a lot of my non work time.
Some of my fav craft books, and a spot of Aunty Cookie
These 2 chairs are both rockers, and this is the space that I call "Cafe Stitches" when my neighbour comes over for coffee
cutting table again . . .
. . . a view from the couch, with all my special things on the wall.
I feel very lucky to have such a lovely big space all for myself to indulge in. I spend a lot of time in there and enjoy it very much. It is just off the family room, so I can still hear what is going on in the main part of the house. I've thought about a lock on the inside of the door, but that hasn't happened yet.

Wow Annie. It's great that you feel lucky to have such an AMAZING craft space - but I'm sure that you've done your apprenticeship of sewing on the kitchen table, picking pins up off the dining room floor so little people don't eat them and storing fabric is any spare space in any cupboard. Keep enjoying your space - I'm sure you've earned it!
that is an amazing room, and full of such lovely creations! icould be very happy in a room like that!

And what a fantastic parlour it is! That looks like the homeliest, cosiest, snuggliest craft space that I've ever seen. I love how you have your walls completely covered in art.
Now that's the sort of feeling that I want to inject into my space.

Ohhhhhhh I'm soooo in love with your sewing room. How lucky are you to have all that space. And an oval cutting table - I had one too and like yours there was never enough space so now my sewing machine sits on it and there still isn't enough space....sigh. I'm looking at my space now to see how I can fit in a couch for sewing holidays. I think that's a wonderful idea.
i see a few rearrangements of furniture and a favourite chair,and yes you are v e r y lucky
What a treasure trove of a room. Holidays in your sewing room....now there's an idea!
Is the old treadle machine a Singer?
Great room! You're a lucky girl!

It's nice to take a walk around your space. I have often considered a lock on the inside of my stitching room also.
This is a great space, so big and inspiring.
Wow, what a wonderful space!
Hi Annie, My daughter Annie found this blog a few minutes ago. I love your sewing space, perhaps because it looks a lot like mine, cat and all. I love the garden snaps too. I'm here at the beach in New York City. I have a garden on my terrace. The garden is my second passion after sewing. I look out on the Atlantic Ocean,I hear the waves at night.I'm so happy to find a kindred spirit. Maryann
