My Secret Santa was Karrin from America and this is what she sent for me. Thank you Karrin, and sorry it's taken me so long to blog. I've been away for a couple of weeks. She also sent me a lovely little quilting book and the pressies were wrapped in Christmas fabric. It was great to have a bloggy present on Christmas morning.
Now I'm home again, it was straight back out into the garden. I couldn't get over how things had grown since I'd been away.
Pete was happy with his Baby Carrots. We swapped our chooks and our vegi yards over and had a great time sorting it all out. The chooks were very happy with the change in scenery.

Great pressies and those carrots look delicious. All this moisture we've had has made everything grow wonderfully. Nice to have you back.

What an adorable Santie Claus!
Love your garden pictures. And it's so lovely to see Southern Hemisphere pictures this time of year when you're snowed-in in the Northern Hemisphere. Stop by if you're getting too warm where you are and want to cool off with some frosty fotos!

Gorgeous SSCS gift...funky carrots!
Everything looks so pretty, Annie! And your chickens DO look happy. Looks, also, like you had a big crop of poppies from the number of flower heads I see standing. (We used to pretend those were pepper shakers when we were kids. I'm sure our neighbor wondered how she got poppies in so many odd locations!)
Hi Annie, So good to have you back. Been thinking of you. Bren
your garden is looking good, those carrots look delicious
: )
Those poppies weren't growing in the veggie patch or have you a side line we don't know about LOL.
Welcome back Annie. I hope the rest of your holidays are wonderful and 2010 is going to be a fabulous year for you. Those carrots look amazing and I love all the poppy heads-Now I have some of those too! Happy chooks indeed! Lovely SS parcel. Take care
Hi Annie, had been thinking of you and I hope things are picking up. Nothing like a garden clean up to get you back in the swing of things. Nothing tastes better than vegies fresh from the garden, have been spoilt lately with that as well. Forgot what real potatoes taste like!
