Last year when a group of us went to Sewjourn, I started piecing my scraps to make this quilt. It came together quickly and then just sat in the "basket" crying out for love and completion. I heard the call this week and used some left over backing with the pattern drawn on and it was finished in a flash - encouraged by the speed, I made the binding and . . . voila!
All from scraps . . . yeah!
I've been enjoying hand quilting this one quietly. It's SO soft and lovely
. . . and I'm not sure what was going on here in Master 10's bedroom
hmmmmm . . . I hope teddy's alright!

lol!...I think poor Ted is sick and all his friends are waiting for a recovery! Just so cute!

I was just telling aomeone the other day about how you magically brought together a whole lot of scraps into an amazing quilt top.... it looked like magic to me, at least! Great to see it finished.

The quilts look fabulous but I'm afraid poor teddy looks rather sacrificial lying there! I hope he's ok! L x
The quilt looks great - funny that Nikki says she was talking about it the other day - so was I! I was telling my friend how you put green sashing on it and it looked fantastic.
Your quilt is beautiful. I love that it's from scraps. And as to the son......you probably don't want to know. :) My "little" boy is 40 now, and some of his antics, oh my!!

Your scrap quilt looks great. I like the green, I always have difficulty deciding what colour to put with scrappy things.

I agree with Lucy, Teddy looks just like the sacrificial lamb to me. All those wild animals just waiting to pounce..... Poor old Ted. They really do put up with a lot.

Love the quilt Annie you clever thing and I too have my doubts about poor Ted-looks like an offering to the Gods to me!! Maybe he was just showing the others how to meditate!

Love the scrap quilt. After all, that was what quilting was originally about. It looks great and confirms that you really do need to hang on to all those off cuts.
Just wondering if Teddy's laying there had something to do with Easter?
The quilts you've been working on (I'm playing catch-up reading your blog again) are great! Love the latest post of the scrappy quilt! Isn't it neat to be able to use just scraps or at least what you have in your fabric stash!
