They're in . . .

A beautiful sunny day here in Ballarat, and we were out in the back yard doing the last finishing touches to the new Bird Palace. Yesterday we went stick searching in the back blocks and found some suitable branches.
It was VERY heavy.
Mr Flowergarden and I moved it with ropes and guidance. No casualties in the garden as the space was all ready and waiting.
It fitted like a glove and we put the bird cage inside to let the birds find their own way. I just went out to check on them, and 2 have found their way into their new home, one to go.
AND . . . I can see them from my kitchen through the new glass door!

How neat! And you've created the perfect sized spot for it. Won't it be fun to hear and see them when you're out in the garden! They won't get too cold in winter?

Ahh yes the moving of heavy objects with ropes - I'm so glad it's not only me who has to do that. Love where you have put the cage - it just fits in beautifully. Now want to do some gardening for me....vbg.

You have been very patient with this project! It has spanned a couple of seasons...no wonder the garden looks established nearby. The birds will love their new home and to be able to fly around. Well done.

Such a pretty photo of the butterfly to start your post :)

The new bird cage looks very nice nestled there in the garden. A bonus that you can see it from the house too. Lovely!
